WageCalculator.app is free to use. It is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are labeled and are separate from the calculator and articles. Advertisers do not see your calculator entries and do not influence the math or what we write. AdSense may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads; see the Privacy policy.

Affiliate links

WageCalculator.app has no affiliate programs configured and does not currently link to any partner, tax-prep, or filing service for payment. We do not earn commissions from any link on this site. If that changes, affiliate links will be labeled on the page where they appear and this page will be updated first.

What the calculator is and is not

WageCalculator is an educational estimator. It is not the IRS, a payroll provider, or a tax preparer. It estimates federal income tax, Social Security, and Medicare. It does not include state or local tax, most pre-tax benefits, bonuses, multiple-job withholding, extra withholding, or income phaseouts on dependent credits. Calculations run in your browser.
